Here’s what’s been inspiring me lately

→ I’m inspired by all things fall and Halloween! This week happens to be a rainy and dreary one, which is a welcome change from all the humidity and harsh sun we’ve seen. It feels like change is coming, I can feel it. These pictures give me all the inspiration for my fall decor!

Paper lanterns. I love all of these paper lanterns hanging lights I’ve been seeing lately. Not only are they inexpensive, but they also give your spaces a soft, light-diffuse look that’s simply dreamy in the evening hours.

Luckily, a lot of stores are going in this direction with their own versions of paper lantern lights so you can pick one up quite easily. I’m partial to IKEA (which has had a range for a long time) and… these From design to hand. These paper lanterns work in all rooms – even covered outdoor areas – so use your imagination to get the “glow”.

Moody bedrooms – You guys know I love a good mood space; These bedrooms are no exception. There is something in the moody bedroom; Like a color that embraces you at night with warmth and comfort. We have one bedroom wall painted dark blue, and I’m thinking of using that color on the rest of the walls.

Chess floors You may have seen more chess floors yourself lately; This is definitely popular right now. If my husband agrees – I’ll consider trying this look on a bathroom floor with tile paint. It would be legitimate, but I have a feeling I’m going to fall in love!

Small art in golden frames – I just noticed I have a million of these tiny art prints (5×7) in gold frames kept all over the place! It’s definitely something I’m drawn to. Not only is the print affordable, but with the right frame, it can add a touch of sophistication to a small wall that needs a little something. I love these little moments in design. Shop Artistic legacy company & Old print shop.

desi wallpapers – Maybe I’m using this word incorrectly, but I love the little print floral wallpaper. Shop Paper hunt & overstock

Textured boucle pillows – This is my absolute favorite at the moment. I like to bring in a bit of pattern through the artwork and rugs and keep the curtains and throw pillows neutral. BUT – I still wanted a good dose of texture and comfort. These boucle pillows are a steal AmazonAnd you can find them in almost any color.

black kitchen (light and housing): The idea of black cabinets can scare people, but this goes to show how beautiful they can be when done right. And I love those wooden pantry doors. We think of something similar for our bathroom entrance. It is these touches that add a distinctive character to your home!

Art Deco Dresser (Apartment therapy) – I’ve always been obsessed with a beautiful wood dresser. I tend to gravitate toward rustic styles with large wooden knobs, but this art deco really caught my eye. The design here is in order!

Bedroom with duvet (Pottery Barn): This pottery barn quilt gives me all that fall feels like. The room is pretty neutral except for the foliage and pretty duvet—the balance here feels just right.

orange roses Floral: One of the best places to buy artificial flowers. This orange is so beautiful here.

Mirrors (Amber Interiors): It’s no surprise that Amber Interiors made this list. She can do nothing wrong. Two simple mirrors leaning against a wall, with a small stack of books and some greenery, is the perfect vignette. And that locker!? fainting.

bathroom (The seventh house): Something in this picture gets to me! in a good way. mirrors? the light? Amber soap bottles? Everything works and gives me a major idea for remodeling our bathroom.

Coat hangers (found here): Lately, I’ve been gravitating towards interesting devices, which aren’t necessarily expensive, but just something that catches your eye and looks unique. I love these coat hooks!

I’ll let you guys know when I have another round of inspiration for you. Thanks for visiting the blog today and every day.
