Happy New Year’s Eve! It’s a new beginning and tomorrow is a new beginning for all of us. I love being on NYE so you can see me in my pajamas playing games until the clock strikes twelve. Thankfully, the Christmas decorations are all put away and I finished rearranging our cozy downstairs study, pictures, this week.
Then I’m off to Florida to finalize the house’s preparation for short-term rentals through high season starting in January. The Gulf Coast is a very popular destination during the winter months so we have hired a property manager to rent out homes to our visitors. I’ll be sharing some beautiful sunsets and tropical botanical photos from my short stay at our home in Sarasota.
When I was browsing for links to share I noticed a lot of articles about design trends (predictably for this time of year) and a lot of opinions about what’s going to happen in 2024. It’s interesting to read, but I’ve always been an advocate of being true to yourself and decorating your home in a way that appeals to you the most and makes you most comfortable in the space you live in.
