Weekend Reading 11.19.23 | Centsational Style

We are in full gear to host Thanksgiving and I am going to buy staples and pick up turkey tomorrow. We’ve taken on two home improvement projects this past week, getting our gutters and glass and shutters painted before the rains come. We retextured and recolored the study and I love the new bold color, this one oil cloth By Benjamin Moore. It will take a few more weeks to fully reassemble the place as I have other things on my plate, but by January it will be the coziest living room with an electric fireplace surrounded by art, books and plants and the perfect place to relax. Cold winter months.

My daughter comes home from college this week so we are already planning all the baking and decorating fun. She loves to prepare for Thanksgiving and I love to help! It would be nice to have a full house once again. I still have more holiday decorating to do, I’m decorating the halls this weekend and next, and will share pictures in December when complete!

I’ll also be sharing some gift ideas over the next few days and linking to them from my Instagram stories, or just check out the Holiday 2023 page that I’ll be updating throughout the week.
