It feels like spring outside this week, and so am I Living So. The birds are singing, I’m able to drive with the windows open, I can skip grabbing a coat on my way out the door, and the trees are starting to blossom. It will return to the 40s to hit highs later this week, so our current glimpse of spring will be brief, but I will do everything we can to help me mentally through the rest of the winter.

The only bad thing about spring, of course, is allergies. John has always had terrible seasonal allergies, and I seem to get them more and more frequently as the years go by (and I guess as I get older, boo). John couldn’t walk outside in the spring without coming back miserable and puffy-eyed. He always wears a mask while doing his yard work, which helps, but we generally have to limit our time outdoors during peak allergy season.

it’s not Just It’s in the outdoors where John’s sensitivity flares up. It’s very sensitive to indoor allergens too, including those produced by the brood of our furry babies. As you know, we have one rescue dog, and two rescue kittens, and they all enjoy roaming freely in the house (and our furniture). We clean them constantly, which is good because they totally deserve it, but it sure is a lot of work to keep a clean house with three pets running around in there.

Our pets leave their fur and dander all over the house, including the air, which sometimes makes John feel very suffocated, especially at night. This is nothing new to us, and we’ve tried many different air purifiers over the years, but we recently added our most advanced air purifier yet to our lineup, and it feels like a big step forward.

This is it Rabbit Air MinusA2 Air Purifier. I actually had never heard of the brand before I was asked to partner with them Some Instagram content, but since I’ve delved into their collection and now have the opportunity to test their product in person, I’m a big fan. You can place this purifier on the floor if you want to be able to move it from place to place as needed, but I decided to mount our purifier on the wall because I knew we wanted to keep it permanently in the sunroom. It was, fortunately, very easy to install (see the process Here on Instagram), and we love the elegant floating effect you created.

My main concern initially about this mid-sized air purifier was that it would be too noisy and that it would drown out my TV watching and dinner conversation since we do both in this space, but our MinusA2 is Whisper Quiet actually. It works quietly and discreetly behind the scenes to filter out 99.97% of airborne allergens and pollutants without producing any harmful byproducts. It can also detect the exact amount of pollutants in our room and adjust its speed accordingly so we get the best air quality at all times.

It may be too early to tell if this remedy is successful in dealing with the worst of our seasonal allergies, but so far, so good! There was no sneezing or stuffy nose, and we go in and out of this room often to access the outdoors because this room leads directly into our backyard (which is why we chose to permanently place the purifier in this space). I’ll definitely update this post if we encounter any issues, but if you don’t see any updates here now, you can be sure that our purifier is working like magic to combat everyday allergens – both on the outside and on the inside.
