Well guys…here’s the first unofficial look at our updated primary bedroom! John and I spent what feels like most of January removing old wallpaper from the section of wall above the chair rail, and today is the debut of our new space. I will not delve into the wallpaper removal process in today’s post. No, today is all about our new bedding Muslin comfort.
You may remember when I collaborated with this brand for the first time last fall. Click here for the full story, but we had the opportunity to try out the 365 100% cotton muslin blanket, and she shared two different ways to style it as an end-of-bed blanket – elegant and straight, and also organically blocky. This month I’m collaborating with Muslin Comfort in general A large number to Exclusive Pinterest content Which delves deeper into the benefits of its very unique bedding. We’re continuing this exploration with today’s blog, all about how to use cozy muslin fabrics to achieve a European-inspired bedroom design.

Now that our bedroom is more in tune with its freshly painted walls, I thought I’d focus my energies in this space. I chose 365 blanket In “Undyed” (this is completely natural without any added colorants). Sun pillow And Throw In “Earth Grey” and A End of paper In white.” We love that everything is temperature-regulated, oversized, and made of easy-wash 100% cotton. I took direct inspiration from the plants and soft colors in our art when choosing the colors for the bedding, and I think the finished collection really suits the space.
But let’s dive into those tips I promised! I’ve recently been fascinated by the idea of European bed design, and thought this was the perfect opportunity to try out some of these ideas in our own area. American Bedrooms. The goal was to add a sense of luxury to the space, and I think we achieved that with a few key changes from our usual bedding routine.
First of all, we chose to use Our new 365 blanket As our main bed linen. European homes tend to be very minimalist when it comes to the fabrics they sleep in, so using the 365 Thin Blanket as a duvet was an easy way to achieve this look without sacrificing warmth or comfort. The blanket may be physically thinner, but it still regulates your sleep temperature in the same way that a soft comforter and filling do (and it’s much easier to clean!). There’s something about the 100% cotton muslin composition that helps your body stay cool in the warmer months and warm in the colder months. When I feel like I need more weight around my shoulders, like when I’m reading in bed, I just lift Oversized throw Which we keep at the end of the bed.
After doing some research, I discovered that the best way to master the European bed design is to simply skip the top sheet. I was a little skeptical about this exchange, thinking I was too reliant on that sheet, but after sleeping in the bed now for weeks, I can tell you in all sincerity that I don’t miss it at all. We sleep comfortably on top of our heads 365 bottom sheets Every night, with the 365 blanket above, I feel it Just Right everything is so soft (even after just one wash so far), and I’m really enjoying the simpler design of the bed overall after we decided not to use the bulk we used to pack on our mattress with a large comforter and extra layers of unnecessary sheets. Leaves.
