Necessary supplies

To play a friendly game on everyday playgrounds, you just need a few things!

Technically it doesn’t Need Prizes, but getting prizes or a cash reward for winning makes this game even more exciting! To create the prize money, have each person pay a certain amount for each square they are assigned.

The more squares a person selects, the greater their chance of winning. Or, set a specific number of boxes that each person is allowed to select.

If you’re offering your own awards, you don’t have to go all out. Keep it simple!

You can have as many people as you want to play the game. The more people you have, the fewer squares each person will have. This means that it is harder to win with more people!

Assign teams

First, assign one soccer team to columns and the other soccer team to rows.

Claim boxes

Have all people playing claim their squares. You can choose to divide the boxes evenly based on how many guests you have at the party and give out the prizes yourself, or set a price per square and people can buy as many squares as they want.

Assign numbers to each row and column

After claiming all the tiles, randomly assign numbers 0 to 9 to each row in the blue spaces, then do the same for each column.

Watch the match!

After each quarter, take the last number from the score for each team. Whoever has the square where these numbers meet on the grid, wins that quadrant.

For example, if Team 1 has 24 points at the end of the first quarter and Team 2 has 27 points, you will find the person with the square where 4 and 7 meet respectively.

Distribution of prizes

You can choose to have a different amount of the pool to win each quarter, the same amount, or just split the prize and wait to see who wins the next prize!
