Wooden play kitchen with wooden kitchen accessories and baskets in the children's room

When it’s summertime, I’m constantly trying to think of ways to keep my toddler entertained. And one of the things that works very well (that we use almost daily) is her play kitchen.

So, I spent hours perfecting whatever beautiful play kitchen I found so it doesn’t cost you more than a few minutes.

And I made sure to pay attention to every budget, too. One of my favorite kitchen essentials on the list is only $51.99! So there is something for everyone.

Kids’ Play Kitchens for Every Budget

Besides the obvious imaginative play kids get from kitchen games, which I think is great, there’s a more practical reason I love them so much. storage! I found that almost all game kitchens have some sort of closed storage.

With a small room and lots of toys, anything that makes the clutter less visible is good for me. Whenever we need, we hide extra toys and books and so on. Which makes cleaning very quick and easy.

still! In the list…

less than $100

1. Mini Wooden Play Kitchen $51.99 (on sale rn)

If I had seen this wooden play kitchen when I was buying one for Hayes, I probably would have bought it (or number 3 on the list). It’s really well priced, IMO, and very cute.

Plus it has some cool DIY possibilities too, if you want to add something to it. It looks like it would be pretty easy to build the back and side walls out of some wood panels if you want it to be less open-air.

2. classic kitchen set $60.99

I like the shape of it with the triangle room/shelf. And it looks like it’s another great option for DIYing. You can even repaint it in colors that match your child’s room.

But the best part about it is that it also comes with a 12-piece set of kitchen accessories (teapot, frying pan, rice cooker, etc.). Who is crazy for the price – good deal!

3. toy oven $69.90

OK, this isn’t the whole kitchen. This is just a pretend oven. But it’s so cute, I had to include it.

4. Tiny Land Kitchen Set $99.99

I love it! Great color and beautiful shape. No note.

This would have been another top contender for Hayes if I had seen it when we bought it years ago. *It also comes with kitchen accessories (cooking tools and food cutting set).

5. Little Tikes First Prep Kitchen $99.99

This is one of the cutest plastic play kitchens I have ever seen. And it’s the only plastic on the list. Also comes with 25 accessories.

6. small land wood stove $69.99

It’s not a full kitchen, but great for small spaces. You can put it on a tabletop, have kids play with it on the floor, or bring it from room to room.

Comes with all accessories and everything is made of wood.

7. Ikea Play Kitchen (DUKTIG) $99.99

It wouldn’t be a roundup of kids’ kitchens if I didn’t add the classic (and very DIYed) Ikea Kid Kitchen.

It’s beautiful on its own, but if you want to customize it, there are tons of Ikea hacks for play kitchens. Some of my favorites:

8. Robd Pretend Play Kitchen Set $95.99

Green and cane make a beautiful combination in this kitchen…and it even has an ‘ice maker’.

It’s nice and sleek, simple design matches with almost any style. It kind of reminds me of the trust I got from West Elm a long time ago.

Zara Kitchen is great! I love the backsplash pattern and all the colors. Unfortunately, it is not available in the United States (only the United Kingdom, I think).

but i also found someone selling it Etsy (being sold for a pretty high price – but I just wanted to include the link, in case you happen to fall in love with it). And as another option, this amazon one Has a similar vibe and is $109.

11. Concept Bistro Wooden Kitchen for Kids $166

The toy storage on this one isn’t much cluttered, but still very cute.

12. Little Chef Modern Delight Kids Kitchen $131.81

It’s the most complete kitchen set I’ve seen and it’s well priced, especially considering everything you get.

Comes with an oven/dishwasher/sink piece and a freezer/fridge combo.

13. toro play kitchen $284.75 from Ferm Living

This is the best price I could find on it. In my opinion Firm Living can do no wrong. i love it

14. Hand Braided Play Basket Kitchen Set $179

It’s just an oven/stove combo, but it’s probably the most unique play kitchen I’ve seen.

This is a 100% handmade textile kitchen and includes a small pot and a quilted oven mitt covered in rug-scraped rope.

15. Tender Leaf Mini Chef’s Kitchen $179.99

17. Milton and Goose Essential Kitchen $729

This is exactly what we have. And it’s like the Rolls Royce of kids’ kitchens, if that were a thing?

Full disclosure, I found it two years ago at the mega sale during all the Black Friday deals. So I paid much less than that. But it is a really good quality play kitchen and we personally have used it a lot so far.

Hayes started using it when he was two and still uses it when he is almost five! So this is one of those pieces that you can keep for a long time.

Another plus is that you can resell it when your child is no longer using it for a closer to retail price than others. ,comes in other colors There is also a fridge option.

19. handmade kids kitchen $449 on Etsy

It is handmade and made of birch plywood.

There’s also a fridge option (sold separately), which also has fridge shelves for eggs and accessories on the inside of the door. You have to see it – it’s so cute!

As the title suggests, it has a classic vibe – a heritage quality to it.

Like a fabulous vintage piece that had been passed down among the family, only it was brand new.

21. penny play kitchen $499

This play kitchen has a very prim and proper vibe. The scallop detail is beautiful and looks like a fine piece of furniture.
